We're committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) - reporting annually on CO2 footprint across 17 countries, with an action plan for reduction.

Circular Economy

Electronic security equipment we decommission is recycled to divert waste and reduce emissions, as is our own e-waste from IT operations. Securitas Healthcare has launched a pilot to recycle the bands used for the Hugs® infant protection system.

Sustainable Operations

Sourcing low-emission apparel and recycling used materials (active in EU, with launch in US in 2024). Reducing emissions by enabling remote work for eligible roles.

Sales Proposals

Working with our technology partners to document power consumption for our 80K+ stock keeping units (SKUs).

2. Calculating CO2 Equivalent

Calculating a CO2 equivalent value based on the emissions factor for electricity in the relevant country.

3. Delivering Data to Clients

Including power consumption and CO2 equivalent data in client proposals to support client sustainability reporting, and building awareness and choices around more sustainable options.
