Drone Detection Security

Helping to ensure the safety of your people and assets from threats in your airspace.

OVERVIEW

Minimize Drone Threats with Drone Detection

Drones, also known as unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), can pose significant security threats to businesses, from espionage to attacks of terrorism. As the availability and use of drones continues to grow, so does the need for drone security solutions.

Drone security detects and locates nearby drones, and alerts you when they are in the vicinity of your premises. Through advanced positioning technology, you can then dispatch an officer to the exact location of the drone controller to manage the threat. If legal action is required, the drone system collects data on every drone detected that can be used as evidence.

Why Drone Detection?

When misused, drones can disrupt businesses in many ways, compromising safety, security, and efficiency. They can threaten public safety in busy areas, facilitate contraband delivery in secure areas of corrections facilities, or disrupt travel and endanger passengers by interfering with air traffic. Additionally, drones can enable espionage, cyber-attacks, and theft, posing risks to sensitive data and valuable assets. Implementing a drone detection system allows businesses to identify and respond to these threats swiftly, safeguarding their operations and stakeholders.

HOW IT WORKS

Drone Detection RF Scanners, Radar, and Optical Sensors

Drone detection solutions are multi-layered, incorporating RF scanners, radar, and optical sensors to reliably detect and locate drones and their operators in your airspace. Each of these technologies contributes to a robust drone detection security system.

RF Sensors
RF sensors serve as the foundation of all drone detection systems. Nearly every drone operates using radio frequency (RF) signals, which RF scanners detect and analyze to determine the location of the drone and operator, the drone’s flight path, and the drone’s manufacturer and/or model.

Radar Surveillance
Drone detection radar sensors are often used alongside RF sensors to detect drones that RF systems cannot identify, such as autonomous drones or drone swarms. However, drone radar cannot determine the location of the drone operator, the flight path, or manufacturer information, making it essential to use them in conjunction with RF systems.

Cameras
Powerful cameras are integrated into drone detection systems to provide visual verification of drones and evidence of potentially harmful drone payloads. Drone detection cameras are trained to reliably and accurately identify drones through AI machine learning.
